Coming Home
Yay!
In high school I love the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, because we pretty much did nothing. Now that that time has become studying, paper writing, and finals I love it less. But still-- after finals I'm DONE. Which is a wonderful feeling. Plus I'm going to Europe with my Engineer. Excellent.

I'm Not Crazy I'm Just A Little Unwell
I actually got sick. It was totally weird. And not fun at all... :-( I got the stomach flu. Which is actually what I always get-- I never get like, a bad cold, a sore throat, etc, I just get to throw up and feel yuck. So I spent the weekend in bed.
Well...actually. In my Engineer's bed. Which I do feel bad about. But um, I didn't realize I was sick until like 8PM on Saturday (I felt bad all day, but I sort of thought I was hung over...sad), and I didn't realize I was REALLY sick until like 10:30PM when I started feeling much worse rather than better. So I was already at his place, lying in his bed, when I realized there was no way I could possibly sit up, let alone walk accross campus. And then I was really worried I was going to throw up in his bed-- but don't worry I didn't, although I almost did. All in all a wonderful weekend, plus Monday when I still felt like crap.
Tuesday though I got to do something awesome. Remember how I took a film class and made a documentary? Me too. So my professor is making another film, and he was like, "kt, you know how to work the cameras, want to do some filming?" and I was all "um...um....um...sure..I guess...if you think I'd be okay...um...yeah" But in the end it was awesome. I got to film what turned out to be a really cool show/performance/theatery thing FROM THE CATWALK. What a view. Totally amazing. And filming is so fun. Advice to me as I ascended to the catwalk, "Give her the catwalk warning" says the professor, "Um. Don't die." say the nice techy. It was then amended to,"There's a lot of broken glass and wires, so um. Don't move around a lot. And, don't die." But it was FREAKING AWESOME.
What else did I do this week....hmm. Wendsleyday. I went to the Catholic Thanksgiving dinner. I felt thankful for it. The peas were really really good. And that's a hard thing to find in peas. And no one else was really fighting me for the peas...
Mm. Other than that stuff. I pretty much just did school so far this week. Classes, work, etc. Only two more papers and one test before Thanksgiving Break. OH LORD TUESDAY YOU CANNOT GET HERE SOON ENOUGH. Also, I saw my Engineer. Which is never a bad thing. :-D
And thus B___ will now stop sending me angry e-mails.

Things that Are Cool
After two and half semesters of college I can write the first page of a paper in like ten minutes without even really thinking about it.
Also only 8 months until I turn old.
Dems took the House.
Being done with all my McKelvy obligations for the semster! Hooray.

Calculus: You Plus Voting = Pie or Pi
I'm getting almost as bad as M. about this blogging stuff. I just haven't had much to say. I'm getting a little worried about all the work I have to do, but I'm actually basically done everything that's due this week already. AND I GOT A 94% ON MY MATH TEST. I am awesome. I, kt, got a 94 on a CALCULUS TEST. Oh the irony. And it isn't that it's easy for me or anything, it's that I did all the homework twice and the review problems three times.
Now if I could just write my history paper and my English paper that are due before Thanksgiving I'd be set. Plus like a million little papers. Stupid BA major requiring a million papers a week.
So what else is going on....I made a pie! Um..my McK discussion is on Wednesday! I'm pretty much terrified. Hooray!
Also-- DON'T FORGET TO VOTE little friends. You are the cogs that make democracy happen! Unless you're voting for Santorum, then you should stay home, watch tv, and pick your nose.

Attempting to do work. Cannot see past stacks of unread books.

My Life Is Pretty Boring
I was a confused Engineering Major for Halloween, with a cute little hat, a red bandana, and overalls, and a name tag that said "kt, Laf. Coll, Engineering Major, 2015" Pretty sweet. I won my first game of... pong at the Halloween Party.
This week has been very boring. I have mostly been putting off work. So I'll probably hate myself right before Thanksgiving break when I have to kill myself to get it all done. But I feel pretty lazy. Phone is still broken. Have a room phone now, but that would be a long distance call for most of you.
Honestly what did I do this week? Class, meetings, some work. The usual I guess.
