Valentine's Poetry Collection 2007
Meant to post these on V-Day:

I am a bit in awe of you, I confess,
Thesis, law school, and all with such success,
I hope you know you deserve all you posses,
But I digress,
To you a Happy Valentine’s Day I express.
Ru,
What would life be like without you?
Dark and dreary, sad and blue,
You’re a valuable friend and a strong person too,
No matter the struggles you see things through,
And a Happy Valentine’s Day I wish to you.
(B____) T. Oh Mercy me!
You my darling are so bonny and wee,
And yet—
Those childbearing hips I see!
If only I were Irish, you would marry me.
(Mdubz) W- with this poem I shall woo,
A woman with brains and follow through,
Beautiful and talented through and through,
I wish all happiness to you—
You deserve it. Yes, you do.

You are a busy little worker bee,
Beauty, brains, and brawn you have all three,
I hope you see how much you mean to me,
A love without bounds, to the highest degree.

You have a fondness for men,
And doodling with a pink pen,
And possibly for marsh wren?
So this poem is just to let you know again,
Happy Valentine’s Day, you are a “10”.

You are awesome because you get both Plato and Play-Dough,
You are crafty, and friendly, and smart—you glow,
Not in the literal sense-that would bring me woe,
For the toxic radiation would most assuredly lay you low.

Even if you can't fix the plumbing you're still a jem,
Whatever your next hobby I won't condemn,
And if you're wondering if I'm wishing you a
Happy Valentines Day—

Although when we first met, of you I was wary,
But now I know I should feel just the contrary,
You are a talented engineer, and knit scarves even of yarns that are hairy,
Happy Valentine’s Day- you’re worth more than the canary.
Of course Carlos got one too. But I'm keeping that one to myself. I might share the mustache one if you're very nice. Although perhaps not. It was difficult enough perserving the rhyme and not reavealing names posting these.
