Question:
everyone quick list all the popular novels and film from the past 20 years or so that reference domestic violence. It doesn't have to be the major theme, but you know, it's there. Also if the couple could be middle to upper class. That would be great. Way to do some research for me.

The Best Ship of All
Was looking for earings that I have misplaced somewhere. And I have containers full of what is essentially crap everywhere in my room--you know the stuff no one else wants and you don't really want it anymore either but you aren't going to throw it away-Girl Scout patches you never sewed on, weird looking key-chains, crappy jewelry, etc. So I came across a cache of friendship necklaces. A container full of 1/2 of these things. And it seemed like a philosophical moment. I have no idea who has (or more likely had) the other halves of these necklaces. Was it you?

Things I have Done Recently
-Eaten dinner with Gloria Steinem. Or in the same room as her anyway. Then saw her lecture from the third row! Yay.
-Produced The Vagina Monologues :-D
-Sucked at school....
-Gotten a sweet card from Ru!
-Very little work.

This is a beautiful day
The sun is shinning. It is nearly 60F. Everything seems full of hope and possibility. Which is good because it's another tough week.
But at least now SAD will go away until December! Life seems so much lighter! (In so many ways).
Hope you are having sunny warm days as well. And if you aren't, don't worry, they're coming!!!

A Serious Invitation
So I'm in (and producing) The Vagina Monologues here. And I would really really like it if people came. I know you are all far away. And I don't really expect K8 or Kaydo (much as I know she wants to) to take me up on this offer. But the show is playing on this Thursday and Friday at 8PM. I'll put you up, I'll feed you, whatever. Carlos isn't coming to the show which is okay, because I don't really think he'd enjoy it. And my parents aren't coming because I don't really think they could handle it. (Although it seems tamer to me every time I see it, I forget other people aren't so comfortable with vaginas). So I dunno. It's kind of sad. I put my life into this show. Not that it's that great. But you know, I have almost 0 theatrical experience and I tried.
